The Ulthera® System uses a process known as Ultherapy® to gently lift, tighten, and tone the skin. Ultherapy® is the only FDA-approved procedure for skin lifting and tightening and is designed to treat facial skin along the brows and around the eyes, as well as skin along the neck or under the chin.
Ultherapy® can be used in conjunction with injections or other surgical procedures. In patients who are not yet ready for facelift surgery or other invasive treatments, this modality can be used to delay surgery or as a non-invasive alternative. What to Expect
Ultherapy® uses high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) waves to reach tissues deep below the skin’s surface, stimulating collagen regrowth. As a result, healthier layers of skin should begin to replace older layers, naturally tightening, toning, and lifting the skin over the course of the following months. Depending on your individual cosmetic goals and the number of areas being treated, the Ultherapy® procedure can take anywhere from 30 minute to 2 hours to complete in the office.

After an Ultherapy® session, most patients are able to immediately resume normal daily activities.
